Yörüksüt was founded in Mersin in 1992 by Ramazan Öz and his brothers. Ramazan Öz and his brothers took over what he called his "passion for milk" from his grandparents. Since the 1940s, the family has been dairy, livestock, and dairy.
The business, built on solid foundations, has become a brand as Yörüksüt with its stable growth policy. It has 3 facilities in Mersin, Erbil, and Zaho. It produces 20 kinds of dairy products with 120 different barcodes in its facilities. Turkey facility has a closed area of 10.000 m2 within 16.000 m2 of land in Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone. Fully automated production facilities are among the largest enterprises in Mersin.
It started exporting dairy products to Iraq in 2007, and in 2010 founded its first overseas factory in Zaho. In 2013, he founded his second factory in Erbil.
