Osman Özkaya founded Nicedo Dondurma in 1994 in Sakarya. Osman Özkaya states that he was inspired by his grandfather Ali Çavuş (ER) and his son Nazmi Usta (ER). Ali Er and Nazmi Er started to make ice cream with the snow by collecting them at the Taurus Mountains' highest regions in 1965 from Demirkazık and Aladağlar. After 1975 they produced ice cream with a machine for the first time.
